School Placement Service (SPS) is a unique service which provides agents, educational consultants and counsellors direct and immediate access to places at 400 British boarding schools.

SPS allows any agent or consultant to place students in any British boarding school.

SPS is a division of Academic Asia International which has over 25 years experience in UK education. The Academic Asia group places up to 1,000 students in UK schools every year.

Academic Asia has agreements with every British boarding school. We are the only organisation in the world with agreements with every school.

SPS, therefore, allows other agents and consultants, working through us, access to all British boarding schools (95% of whom will also pay commission).

SPS is simple, straightforward and easy to use. SPS allows other agents and consultants to benefit from Academic Asia’s vast experience and network of contacts in British schools.

SPS makes you an agent for every boarding school in Britain.

SPS works like this:

• you send SPS details of the student and their requirements

• SPS provides by return a list of suitable schools which have appropriate vacancies together with all relevant application forms.

(Alternatively, in some circumstances, the student may request a specific school - in this case we will inform you of the availability of places at this school and will advise you of the student’s suitability and chances of success.)

• you send SPS the completed application forms: SPS then submits the application(s) and pays the registration fee(s) on your behalf.

• SPS then follows the applications through and presses the appropriate person at the school for a prompt and favourable decision - where necessary making direct contact with the Headmaster or Headmistress to pursue the application.

• once an offer has been made by a school, SPS will handle the acceptance procedures, assist with deposits and will obtain a formal acceptance and visa letter (if required) from the school

• SPS will susquently collect commission due from the school.

You can start using SPS now or at any time .

(Higher commission can be earned by entering into an agreement.)

SPS is free of charge.

(Our income is derived solely from the schools. )

We pay you to use our service.

SPS will pay to agents and consultants using the service:

35% of the commission* received from the school for individual students placed by agents or consultants making a single use of the service

OR

50% of the commission* received from the school for all students placed by agents or consultants entering into an agreement with Academic Asia International.

It is also understood and accepted that agents and consultants will charge a placement fee to their customers.

Any registration fees paid to schools on your behalf will be deducted from the commission due.

* Average fees at at typical British boarding school are £21,000 per year. We have agreements with 95% of British schools to pay 10% commission on the first year’s fees.

Your share of this, therefore, would typically be:

£735 based on 35% for a “one-off” use of the service

£1050 per student based on 50% for regular use of the service.

The actual amount will be slightly more or slightly less according to the school.
